Name: Patricia Caldwell
Location: Los Feliz — Los Angeles, California
Size: 800 square feet
Years lived in: 2 months
The idea of finding a new space, packing my stuff, and making it all fit somewhere else makes my head spin. This apartment is owned by famous French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier. The interior of apartment look interesting and crazy. It’s be located in front of the Eiffel tower, with stunning views of Paris. Interior design looks a bit crazy and monochromatic because the maritime line that runs through the apartment walls, floors and furniture. The lines which happens to be a designer signature. Furthermore there is a garden and dolls room which should also be mentioned. Garden space fill up with plants: ivy weaving on the sofa; moss growing on the cloth seats in the shade of trees, and moss, like green velvet, carpet stone. As well doll bedroom space. Stretch fabric on the walls and formed velum flour in the ceiling. Corset dress from the night market dolls into the sleeping gigantic blanket. In this room, lingerie, lace fishnets in a carpet and is reflected in window panes.

The 68,000 spectators Green Point Stadium designed by gmp architekten, is one of the major stadiums to host the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. With its horizontal facade expression and the curving contours, the architectural design was intended to enhance the horizontal line of Table Mountain, and appeared as an iconic building in Cape Town.

The skyline of Cape Town is dominated by Table Mountain, Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Town Stadium forms a landmark at the foot of Signal Hill, and fits respectfully into its environment. The challenge was to create a standalone building in this unique location that enriches rather than mars the world-famous picture-postcard setting.
